The last few weeks of development on Hush Blossom has revolved around the Model and Agent System. For reference a lot of things have been happening, but this is where most of the development has gone lately (slightly delayed mostly by Fire Emblem Three Houses coming out :3) So what is this Agent system? Welp, in the old days of development the Model system was handled by the Seller (aka Simi) but due to a few changes, one of which being the player being able to create their own avatar (WHAAAAAAT????), we reorganised the way the game's separate systems are accessed. This has meant that we've had some freedom of character creation and larger parts of the game are able to have their own room to shine - i.e. the advent of the Agent system.
At a certain part in the game the player will gain access to the Agent, a character that will take the brunt of hiring, firing, levelling and promoting Models. They'll also be the character in charge of Photoshoots, Catwalks and deciding what to do with all of those sweet shots and experience bits earned in the process.
Summed up in a paragraph makes it all sound so simple, doesn't it? BUT NOPE! We're going deep my Blossoms, not only does the Agent have their own Skill Tree and ways to level up, but each of the 20-ish Models available have their own Traits and a unique ability and can also be levelled up alongside the Agent. For this to be balanced alongside the Creating, Selling and Hunting Minigames has taken some time! Luckily the more work is done on envisioning the global start to end ideal game state the tighter the vision of the end product becomes.
Suffice to say this has meant a lot of character creation back and forth between myself and (mostly) M31, and a lot of spreadsheets from myself. Photoshoot components, Model abilities, Agent Level Progression Expectation, it's really been a fun experience. It's coming to a close though, as I type I'm taking a short break from calculating the amount of experience it'll take the Models to level up!

I've also been super happy with all of the art coming from M31 lately, from the updated Race Reference Pages to the Race Icons it's been excellent seeing so much coming through. She'll be taking a short break to work on her own projects, and we probably won't have too much to say Social Media wise, but work is always continuing - even if it's the boring (for you non-nerds) spreadsheet stuff :D Keep on Blossoming
